Founded in 2023 by artist and school social worker Josh Chefitz, ActLoCLE began as an idea for a Cleveland-based online marketplace. Conversations with local artists quickly revealed a more immediate need: helping creators connect with audiences and opportunities in meaningful ways.
Today, ActLoCLE promotes Northeast Ohio artists and their events on Instagram, making it easier for the community to discover and support local talent. We also host the annual ActLoCLE Online Juried Art Exhibition.
